This is the time for faith to move. Questioning and fear are a part of our faith lives, but at some point, faith also gets active. Philip gets up and responds to the Spirit’s lead to head off down the road. He is responsible for the birth of the Christian faith in a new location. He didn’t wait for someone else or think that he couldn’t do a good job. He simply went. Where is the Spirit calling us to move into ventures of active faith and trust that God’s promises are real?
